This Hamsa Ring is a sterling silver statement piece with a wide, adjustable ring shank that will fit roughly sizes 5.5-10*. Hand cut and stamped details add symbolism to this design. There are seven stamped circles, representing the seven chakras. The hamsa, the symbol at the top of the ring, is seen in multiple religions across the globe, from Hinduism, Buddhism to ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian cultures. It Asia it is seen as symbols of the energy elements, whereas in the Middle East it’s seen as the hand of god. No matter the culture, it’s recognized as a symbol of protection, good health, and luck.
This moonstone has gorgeous blue flashes in the light that make it a rainbow moonstone. The moonstone is seen as a very healing feminine crystal, the stone of “the mother moon”. It’s strongly connected to intuition, and just as the stone itself seems to glow, it is said to bring a light to your spiritual self during darker moments or emotional conflict. It gently guides you on your path, much like the moon does at night.
*This is an open (adjustable) ring and will fit many fingers. If you let me know your ring size in checkout note section, I can adjust the opening to fit closer to your size before arrival. As this is a wider ring band, ring sizes go up. So if you are naturally a size 6 in a thin band, for example, assume you are a 6.5/7 in a wider band.
All the jewelry from CrowTotemArts is handcrafted in my studio in California and created from designs drawn in my sketchbook. You can follow me on Instagram @Brandys_CrowTotem. Each item is hand made and unique. Gemstones and silver can be damaged by exposure to saltwater, household cleaners, or from dropping. The patina (darkened areas) can be altered by some household cleaners and saltwater, so please keep dry. Moonstone has natural inclusions (subsurface cracks) and is sensitive to banging or dropping. Like all artisan jewelry, please handle with care.
